JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SPRINGFIELD CELEBRATE THE SEASON HOLIDAY SHOPPING MART
SHOP FOR A CAUSE
SPRINGFIELD, MO, August 1, 2008: Shop For A Cause with Celebrate the Season. The proceeds benefit projects of the JLS and its signature project Isabel's House, the Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks. This holiday market, featuring merchants and boutiques from Springfield and around the country, will be held at the Springfield Expo Center, Friday through Sunday, November 14-16, 2008. Celebrate the Season, hosted by the Junior League of Springfield, offers a unique shopping experience and a variety of merchandise for the holiday shopper as well as live entertainment and recipe samples from the fabulous Junior League cookbooks.
The schedule for the event is as follows:
Friday, November 14, 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday, November 15, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday, November 16, 11:00am to 5:00pm

Decadent Diva Party: $25 tickets must be pre-purchased
Cookies with Santa: Adult $15, Child $10 (age 10 and under) tickets must be pre-purchased.
Proceeds benefit projects of the JLS and its signature project, the Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks. The Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks will provide 24/7 residential care for kids when there is trouble at home. Families in crisis will receive education, respite, support, and counseling services.
Since 1959, the Junior League of Springfield has contributed over $4 Million Dollars and more than 1.25 million hours of volunteer service to the Springfield community. The JLS is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action of trained volunteers. Its purposes are exclusively educational and charitable.
