Community Emergency Funds are awarded in response to unexpected
emergencies and could be a result of a written request or an identified need
in the community. Community Emergency Fund awards are evaluated and awarded
by the JLS Executive Committee. Requests can be submitted by emailing the
JLS at info@jlspringfield.org. Recent
recipients include:
- Southwest Missouri Tornado Relief, May 2004
- Tsunami through Convoy of Hope, December 2004
- Parkview High School Fire
- Hurricane Relief to varied Junior Leagues of Florida
