We will have our first DIAD opportunity this Thursday, September 22nd, from 5:00-7:30PM, with Better Beginnings! Better Beginnings is a home visitation program that uses the Healthy Families America model and is offered through Great Circle’s Parenting Life Skills Center. Families participating in Great Circle’s Better Beginnings program are invited to group meetings four times a year. League volunteers will help plan the event, serve the meal, develop fun activities that promote an understanding of healthy child development, interact with the parents and children, and distribute materials provided to the families.
