The Junior League of Springfield (JLS) is looking forward to hosting their 4th annual Tour of Kitchens! This year’s home’s locations are unique from years past in that each home on this tour is located in the same area: Highland Springs.
On September 9, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., JLS volunteers and community members will be invited to tour the kitchens of Chris and Jennifer Hazelrigg, Austin and Michelle Herschend, Kyle and Stacy Hicks, Jim and Suzanne Louth, Dr. Marcelo Mantala and May Lylah Chua-Mantala, and Jeremy and Marta Miner.
Event highlights include demonstrations by Springfield’s most notable chefs, cocktail creations, cooking classes, and sweet treats – all with samples along the way! Each Tour of Kitchens ticket holder will receive a “Women Who Can Dish it Out” cookbook and whisk from At Home Real Estate Services of Southwest MO in addition to access to the event.
General admission tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Purchase your ticket now to ensure your spot on the tour! You can purchase tickets online at jlspringfield.org or 417tix.com, or in person at the Junior League office, Tasty Junior, Shop HaremCo, and James Home Decor. General admission ticket holders will begin the tour at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame where they will park and then enjoy the tour via bus.
JLS members and their invited guests can opt for a VIP ticket ($70 in advance), which includes a VIP party following the conclusion of the tour on the Highland Springs Country Club Patio with demonstrations by Elle’s Patisserie, Missouri Spirits, and Highland Chef, and wine provided by Macadoodle’s. VIP ticket holders will begin the tour at the Highland Springs Country Club where they will park and enjoy the tour via bus.
The biggest party of the fall is also for a worthy cause! Proceeds from the Tour of Kitchens support the Junior League of Springfield’s mission to promote volunteerism, train women, and improve our community.
