Why You Joined JLS:

I loved to volunteer within the community throughout my life. In grad school, I had dear friends recommend joining JLS to further my skills and opportunities while serving at a greater capacity than I could on my own.

Favorite JLS Event:

I love our DIAD projects, particularly the OTC Middlers Event. The opportunity to spend the afternoon with an individual working toward long term goals in a non-traditional route is always inspiring. It never leaves me with a dry eye or empty heart. I try to attend at least once a year for it continuously inspires me to work harder, love more, and not take my many blessing for granted.

Favorite JLS Memory:

The provisional Know Your City Tour taught me so much about JLS and Springfield. Growing up in Springfield, I never knew the connections JLS had to organizations and projects such as The Discovery Center, Isabel’s House, Leadership Springfield, Community Foundation of the Ozarks, and the History Museum. I love being able to share the connections and what I learned at that event still today.

Life Outside the League:

I am currently the marketing coordinator for a locally based drug testing company. I love to volunteer throughout our community through not only the league, but work and my church. I spend much of my free time crafting, baking, and spending time with those closest to me.

Fun Fact:

I slid down the Great Wall of China via toboggan in grad school.
