Rebecca Perkins

Charity Ball, Chair

JLS History:

I joined as a new member in 2018. I served on the Charity Ball Committee since I joined the Junior League. Last League year I served as the Charity Ball Committee Co-Chair and currently the Charity Ball Committee Chair for 2020-2021.

Why You Joined JLS:

I wanted to join an organization that gave back to the community while building life-long friendships. After finding the Junior League, I learned the impact they have on Springfield with their past and current community projects and I knew I had found my tribe.

Favorite JLS Event:

Charity Ball, of course! It is a fun-filled night with live-auctions, dancing and socializing with members and community partners!

Favorite JLS Memory:

This is a hard one to answer! I have several memories that I treasure and each for different reasons. I don’t think I can pick one. When you get a league of amazing women collaborating together, it’s guaranteed to be a fun time!

Life Outside the League:
My husband and I have two beautiful daughters ages 5 and 12. I am also a fur mom to our Goldendoodle, Ozzie, named after one of St. Louis Cardinals’ best players Ozzie Smith. (Go Cards!!) I am a co-owner of a small business that provides services for Missouri Courts such as drug testing and electronic monitoring.

Fun Fact:

I lived in the same house my entire childhood from birth until I graduated from highschool. My daughter, Emerson, has the same name of the road I grew up on and my parents still reside there
