The Junior League of Springfield, which was instrumental in the creation of Isabel's House crisis nursery, has been honored with the Community Impact award from its parent entity, the Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. The Junior League of Springfield presented the Junior League Community Impact $10,000 prize awarded to JLS by the Association of Junior League International in April. JLS received the award in recognition of its impact to the community through its signature project, Isabel’s House, the Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks and 24/7 tool to fight child abuse.
